The objective is to assess the potential effects impacts of the artisanal fisheries of interest on the benthic communities of interest and related habitat and synthesize the information and results gathered in WP5 and WP6. Besides it will obtain a bionomic cartography of each surveyed zone. Specific activities are:

• Training seminar on image processing and analysis to agree on a common methodology.
• To describe fisheries disturbances especially on vulnerable benthic communities.
• Evaluating the environmental status of benthic communities using Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) and specific qualitative and quantitative descriptors as well as any emerging indicator that need to be considered.
